GOALS

The intent of this blog is to become a valuable resource for parents and students to increase their consumption of healthier foods.

Our goal is to 50% increase the consumption of nutrient-dense foods of students by the year 2040

This can be achieved by making half your plate fruits and vegetables and by offering: "SOME"

Support for eating nutrient dense foods
   -Encouragement
   -Reinforcement
   -Positive reinforcement

Opportunities to eat fruits and vegetables
   -Recipes that are kid-friendly
   -Simple ingredients
   -Both snacks and mealtimes

Modeling: seeing others eat fruits and vegetables
   -Real-life examples of family meals
   -Photo evidence

Experiences with fruits and vegetables.
   -Cooking demonstrations and techniques
   -Farm to Table illustrations
